Owen Dobler

CPA, BBA

Owen was born and raised in Powell River, BC. Growing up, he spent most weekends travelling Vancouver Island playing hockey. During his high school years, Owen worked for a construction company in Powell River. Although he enjoyed his time there, he decided to take the advice of family and friends and pursue his passion for accounting after graduation.

In 2014, he moved to Nanaimo to enroll in the Bachelor of Business Administration program at Vancouver Island University. In his final semester, he joined JJA as an intern and officially joined the team in April 2018. In December of 2020, Owen obtained his Chartered Professional Accountant designation.

Outside of work, you will find Owen and his fiancée in the mountains or near the sea, as they enjoy spending their time hiking, surfing, snowboarding, and everything in between.
